Meet Dlana
My name is Dlana. This is the very short version of our story. I hope you’ll take a few minutes and read the extended rendition on our About page..
I’m a single mother of both 8 year-old and 4 month-old daughters. We’re trying to overcome some serious challenges. Fortunately, some new friends have stepped into our lives very recently and I am finding some hope. It’s like seeing a light at the end of a long tunnel. This new friend – a father-figure named Stephen – offered to build us a GoFundMe campaign.
Again, I would love for you to learn a little about us and our story, learn about where we’re at in life now, and why we are reaching out for help.
Why We’re Asking for Help
Our goal is to raise $15,000 — enough to rebuild stability for one year.
Automobile Need
$3,000 – Reliable used car for doctors appointments, church, and future work
Housing Support
$9,000 – One year of housing support ($750 / month)
Basic Living Support
$3,000 – Utilities, car insurance, diapers, and basic living expenses
October 2025 Update…
Since October is my month to reapply for SNAP Food Stamps, due to the government shutdown we just learned that in addition to November being in question, October will NOT be processed. We only qualify for $536 per month, and we won’t get that this month. We could really use some help.
